The department will hold a public informational meeting regarding the reissuance of the Master General Permit MO-G140000 for discharge from oil/ water separators and similar wastewater treatment devices whose sole function is treating stormwater or water without detergents or additives used to rinse or wash down pavements. This permit applies to establishments such as vehicle repair shops, transformer stations and pipeline compressor stations. It does not apply to establishments required to apply for a permit under the stormwater regulations or the discharges of wastewater treatment devices for treating vehicle or equipment wash waters. This meeting is an opportunity to provide input regarding the current permit. A draft of the next permit will not yet be available at the time of the meeting, as the permit writer wishes to incorporate changes based on comments received about the current permit.
