A proposed amendment to Code of State Regulations 10 CSR 20-6.020 Public Participation, Hearings, and Notice to Governmental Agencies, is now available for public review and comment until Sept. 23, 2025. All comments must be received or postmarked by 5 p.m. The department will hold a public hearing about the proposed amendment on Sept. 16, 2025. Please follow the link below for more information.

The purpose of this proposed rule amendment is to incorporate electronic correspondence via electronic mailing. Incorporating provisions to allow for notices to be sent via electronic mail will allow for faster and more efficient correspondence between the department, stakeholders and impacted permittees. Additionally, the department has reviewed other areas of 10 CSR 20-6.020 and believes revisions are needed to improve the clarity within rule. For additional details please see the rulemaking report.
