This page provides access to data about Missouri’s energy landscape from external sources such as the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), Alternative Fuels Data Center and AAA. The data are “embedded” in the various charts and appear when you hover your cursor over a specific data point. These charts update automatically as new data are added by the external source. This may lead to issues with the charts if, for example, only some data are updated in a particular year. For technical documentation and more information, follow the source link at the bottom of each chart.

Note: Data provided by EIA through the EIA Beta tool may come from product(s) in the beta stage of development. According to EIA, because the products on beta are still experimental, the data displayed may not be as accurate or up-to-date as their live site. You may even encounter a bug in how the data are displayed. EIA’s main State Energy Data System page should be used for official purposes.

Refer to the Missouri Energy Bulletin Data Tool for access to additional automatically updated data from EIA, including heating season propane prices.
